Medicinal Plants and Community Well-Being Project

Abstract:

The Medicinal Plants and Community Well-Being Project focuses on building community partnerships around a deep connection with the earth, human health, and well-being. Our mission is to learn from, share with, and work alongside communities that are interested in the medicinal properties of plants that grow abundantly in our region. We seek to share knowledge freely through the experience of planting, tending and learning how to use the harvest from these apothecary gardens together. Through these experiences, we hope to inspire others to look closely at their own health and well-being as well as the health and well-being of the community around them.
